Hello Spring Brook Parents –

Charleston Wrap Fundraiser

The PTA Fall Fundraiser is under way! Fundraising packets were sent home with students Friday. This is a catalog and online fundraiser through Charleston Wrap, which offers fun and unique wrapping paper, quality kitchen and home items, and much more! Last year, with the help of our awesome parents and staff, the Charleston Wrap fundraiser helped raise over $6,000 for Spring Brook PTA, which helps pay for things like field trips, Ice Cream Social, teacher requested supplies, and student resources. We hope to exceed last year's sales this year so that the PTA can do even more for Spring Brook!

What you can do to support your student with this fundraiser:

- First, read the welcome letter included in the Charleston Wrap packet

- Register your student online at http://www.charlestonwrapstore.com using our School ID provided on the form (z-11280)

- Obtain your student's Charleston Wrap student ID upon registration

- Share your student's Charleston Wrap link through email using the registration page, through Facebook, and any other social media you use! The majority of our sales were online last year, and it's a great way for distant family, friends, or even co-workers to support your kids!

- Submit orders on 9/23 or sooner

- Make all checks payable to: Spring Brook PTA

This year, we have some great incentives for the students to get excited about and earn during the fundraiser! Turn in prize coupons throughout the fundraiser and receive prizes in the classroom!

If you have any questions or suggestions, please email Tiffany Malik (tiffany.malik@gmail.com) or Marissa Kopp (marissakg@hotmail.com)

Thank you for your support!

Calling All Art Awareness Volunteers

Do you love art or love to help out in your child's classroom? Art connects our students with the world. The PTA is in need of parents to volunteer to teach Art Awareness lessons to your child's class. We provide everything you need to do the lesson, flexible times for lessons and no experience necessary!

On a quarterly basis, volunteers pair up and teach the students about well-known artists and their works and then facilitate an art project using the style just taught. ALL materials, training, and activities are provided for volunteers. Please use link below.

LMC Volunteers – 2019-20 School Year

Hello Spring Brook Families!

We are looking for two additional LMC (Library Media Center) volunteers.

The open shifts are for every other week:

2 shifts for Tuesday afternoon: 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
During shifts, volunteers check-in books, interact with students that visit the LMC (assist kids with picking out / finding appropriate books), help check-out materials, assist in the MakerSpace, shelve books, and help with special projects. It is a fun way to become involved at Spring Brook and meet teachers, students, and Spring Brook families!
