Student Material Pick Up

Reported by on 8/31/20

Hello Spring Brook Parents,

As we near the start of the school year, we want to provide families with an opportunity to pick up instructional materials, yearbooks, Chromebooks, and pre-ordered supply kits. Our team will be preparing materials for parent/guardian curbside pick up next week. If you are unsure if you ordered a supply kit through the PTA or if you ordered a yearbook, please contact the main office.

Chromebooks for new students and K-2 students will be provided at this time. If your child is a third, fourth or fifth grade student, he/she will use their Chromebook from last year. If your child’s Chromebook is broken, please bring it on this day and we will issue you another one. If you turned in your child’s Chromebook at the end of last year, please let us know when you come to pick up your child’s materials.

Use the first letter of your child’s last name to find the scheduled time for your pickup on Tuesday, September 1. If your children have different last names (from one another) please choose the earlier time. If you cannot make your assigned time, you may come during another time slot. In the case of rain, the make up day will be Wednesday, September 2.

A - C: 8:30-9:30

D - I: 9:30-10:30

J-M: 10:30-11:30

N-S: 12:30-1:30

T-Z: 1:30-2:30

Parents will need to drive to the school to maintain social distancing. If you are out of town and unable to pick up your student’s supplies, you may arrange for a neighbor to pick up their belongings. Please also have your friend or neighbor have a sign in the car window, listing your student’s first and last name.

In the interest of safety for you and for our staff, we ask that you follow these procedures when you arrive for your scheduled pick up time:

Please come alone if possible. We ask that children do not come. While we hope the schedule alleviates long lines, there may be some waiting as we load cars. Also, classroom teachers will not be at the school for students to see.

Similar to our car pickup window signs, please CREATE a new sign (8 ½ x 11 paper size) with your child(ren)’s first and last name (bold/ BIG print) and class (KB, 3V, etc.)

Place your sign on the passenger side window, visible to staff.

Drivers should turn on their hazard flashers while they are in line.

Enter carline

Once your car has reached the designated spot, please open the trunk and/or unlock your side door. DO NOT GET OUT OF YOUR VEHICLE. A staff member will place your child’s items in your trunk.
