Family Literacy Night

Spring Brook families are invited to our:
Family Literacy Night
Thursday, October 29th
6:45 – 7:45 pm
LMC / Multi-Purpose Room (MPR)

Featuring: Where the Wild Things Are
by Maurice Sendak

Activities planned for Family Literacy Night include:

•Where the Wild Things Are Dramatic reading by Mr. Vance & Miss Hoyle

•Storytelling by Public Librarian Celeste Giles

•Just Right Books Presentation by Linda McCoy, Spring Brook’s Reading Teacher

•A display of Wild Things created by Spring Brook’s 1st grade classes in Art Awareness

•Spring Brook and Naperville public library resource demonstration including Tumblebooks™

• A Make It / Take It craft for children in the MPR

•Make a Wild Thing using an interactive SmartBoard
We will raffle 2 Movie Gift Cards & a Restaurant Certificate

This is an all-ages event. Most activities are geared towards
pre-school through 3rd grade readers and pre-readers.
