Spring Brook Families Give Generously: Candy Donations Weigh Close To A Quarter Ton!
On November 2nd and 3rd, the Spring Brook PTA and Student Council held the Candy Drive during morning drop-off. An astounding 474 pounds of candy was collected! The candy was donated to a very appreciative staff at Loaves & Fishes Community Pantry, which services area residents who are in need. Currently, approximately 50% of the people they serve are under 18 years old.
This was a project that PTA parents, their children, and student council members could jointly participate in, and everyone had a fantastic time doing something that could help others in the community.
