Jump Rope for Heart

Reported by jenny_jansen@ipsd.org on 2/9/15

Jump Rope for Heart is Friday, February 13th!!

On Monday, please check your child's folder for a fun nutrition worksheet. Every child who turns the sheet in by the morning of Wednesday, February 11th with their full name and class on it (it's very important that both your child's name and class is on the sheet) will be entered into a drawing. Twelve sheets will be drawn at random for prizes from the past Jump Rope for Heart prize collections., including a power wing razor scooter! What a fun way to have your child think about how nutrition impacts our health!!

And don't forget, Friday is red, pink, and white Spirit Day, the perfect colors for your child to wear during JRFH!

We still need volunteers in Kindergarten, second grade and fourth grade! If you'd like to volunteer please go to http://vols.pt/5CtiGk and secure your spot to participate with the children in the fun event!

We're proud that Spring Brook has consistently been the number one school in the Will/DuPage County for this important fundraiser; not only does donating to Jump Rope for Heart help the school (remember the year we acquired that amazing rock climbing wall the kids love?) but it helps fund important American Heart Association research and programs benefiting children with heart problems.

Donations are due on Wednesday, February 25th! Signup online today at www.heart.org/jump. Thank You, Jenny Jansen, Michelle Snyder and Mayda Winiarski
