Hello Spring Brook Parents –




PDAC
The Parent Diversity Advisory Council (PDAC) invite you to their next meeting on Tuesday, April 25th, 7:00-9:00 pm, at Crouse Education Center (CEC), 780 Shoreline Drive. The meeting will focus on Chapter 8 of the Mindset book by Carol Dweck. The topic is: Evolving from a Fixed to Growth Mindset. It is not necessary to have read the chapter or book. For information about PDAC or PDAC meetings, please visit the PDAC subpage.

You are invited to nominate an Equity Champion through the Parent Diversity Advisory Council (PDAC). Please consider nominating a staff member, teacher, principal, parent or community member that supports equitable access and opportunity for students. Entries accepted through June 30, 2017. Multiple Equity Champions are recognized at the annual PDAC World Café. The current PDAC District Leadership is ineligible for this award. Volunteer Luncheon

Lunch is on us! The PTA board would like to invite any parent who has volunteered in any way this year to a luncheon to show our appreciation.

It will be Thursday, May 11th at Traverso's from 12-2 pm. Please RSVP by no later than Wednesday, May 3rd to be included on the guest list.

Due to space constraints adults only please.

We hope you can come join us and have a fun afternoon to relax and talk with other Spring Brook parents!

Spring Brook PTA Officer Nominations

The Spring Brook PTA nominating committee places into nomination the following names for the officer positions for the 2017-2018 school year:



For President - Mrs. Allison Fosdick

For Vice President - Mrs. Lynn McElhone

For Secretary - Mrs. Courtney Barenbrugge

For Treasurer - Mrs. Amie Enright



Elections will take place at our next PTA meeting on Thursday, April 27th at 9:30. All members are encouraged to attend and participate in the elections and other PTA business. Nominations from the floor will also be accepted at that time.



Spring Brook’s Spring Box Top and Labels for Education collection time is here!

Each Box Top and Label is worth CASH for our school! Please have your child bring your Box Tops and Labels for Education cutouts to his/her teacher starting tomorrow. Your child is also welcome to submit their BoxTops on the attached coloring sheet! Even if you have just a few, every little bit counts!

We will collect until May 26th. Please cut along the dotted line around the Box Top and check for expiration. All Labels for Education must contain the entire UPC code in order to be eligible for redemption.
