Important Information - April 13th

Hello Spring Brook Parents -

Starting on Tuesday, April 13th students who are not remote learners will begin to attend school from 9am to 3pm. Please read this message for important information.

Arrival procedures and bus route times remain the same. Doors 1, 2 and 9 will open at 8:45am. The circle drive is available for student drop off. Fifth grade students can ride their bikes to school but must walk them on school property and lock them on the bike rack.

Lunch procedures are as follows:

Grade levels will eat lunch split into two groups, half will be in the lunchroom and half will be in our multipurpose room. The locations will remain the same for the rest of the school year.
Students that choose to receive a free school lunch and/or milk will pick up the lunch and a milk from coolers as they enter the lunchroom or multi-purpose room.
Students that chose to eat lunch at school will have two options, one vegetarian and one not vegetarian, there will be a calendars of meal choices available for families to preview ahead of time on the district website. Meals will include the breakfast components that students can take home to consume the next day. Lunches will include a main entrée, fresh fruit OR vegetable and a milk.
Students must always wear masks when they are not actively eating.
Students will have outdoor recess when the weather permits, they must use hand sanitizer before exiting the building.
Indoor recess will be held in the classrooms.
Students must wear their masks outside while they are playing unless they are 6 feet apart.
Students cannot use playground equipment but will have access to balls that are specific to their grade level.
Students will wash their hands with their classroom teacher when they re-enter the building.
Students will not be bringing lunches home at the end of the day, but they will still be available for the community at door 1 from 10:00 to 11:00am and from 1:00 to 2:00pm.
Dismissal procedures will remain the same. If you do not know which door your child will be exiting, please contact your child’s teacher. If you do not know what door your child exits from, please contact their teacher. Please remember that students MUST use the crosswalks when crossing the street and dogs are not allowed on school property.
